Yasai Vegetable Gyoza Ramen.

For those who enjoy spice, Wagamama’s ramen with vegetable gyoza comes with steamed yasai gyoza, udon noodles, and a robust vegetable broth that includes roasted bok choi and chilli sambal sauce.

Vegan ‘Chicken’ Kare Lomen.

Are you looking for a delicious meat-like dish free from animal cruelty? Look no further than the vegan ‘chicken’ kare lomen, which has returned to the menu after a brief break. This aromatic dish features vegan teriyaki ‘chicken’ piled high on top of udon noodles submerged in a creamy coconut broth with a spicy chilli kick. Fresh beansprouts, cucumber, coriander, and a lime wedge balance the creamy coconut broth’s flavors with a zesty, cool touch.

Yasai Yaki Soba

A quick-cooking Japanese dish on a hot plate is called teppanyaki. This variation has noodles mixed with veggies and topped with sesame seeds, pickled ginger, and fried shallots. The original dish contains egg and soba noodles, making it unsuitable for vegans. However, you can order a modified version by asking for no egg and swapping soba for udon or rice noodles.

You can still enjoy this well-known vegetable dish if you’re vegan; just ask your waitress to omit the egg. Rice noodles, tofu, leeks, beansprouts, chilli, red and spring onions, fried shallots, mint, and coriander are the components arranged on the plate. Amai sauce means “sweet” in Japanese. It comes served with a fresh lime wedge.

For those who crave spice, this vegan curry packs a punch with tofu, mangetout, peppers, onion, hot chillies, sesame seeds, shichimi, and lime, served with white rice.

Vegatsu.

You may have tried this dish previously as it is a crowd favorite. However, the recipe was updated last year and no longer includes seitan. The new formula features crispy panko breadcrumbs coated with tofu and soya protein. It is served with a side salad and Japanese pickles, and is covered in a flavorful katsu curry sauce on a bed of sticky white rice. It is also available in a spicy and hot variant.

Cha Han Shichimi Tofu

If you enjoy the combination of sweet and salty flavours, you should try the cha han shichimi tofu dish at Wagamama. This delicious recipe comprises of shichimi tofu and stir-fried brown rice served in a sweet and sticky sauce. A rainbow of vibrant vegetables, such as edamame beans, sweetcorn, cucumber, red onion, and red pepper, are used as garnish. To enhance the flavour, top the dish with coriander cress, crispy fried onions, and Japanese pickles for an extra burst of taste.

Yasai Katsu Curry

The meal is made with panko-coated spicy veggies and is available in a hot form with spicy curry sauce, rather than tofu or soy protein.

Aubergine and Caramelised Onion Koyo Bowl

Wagamama is introducing the latest addition for summer 2023 – a colourful bowl that will impress on Instagram. The dish boasts a combination of aubergine and caramelized onions, coated with a sticky sauce of red chilli and miso. The plate features a bed of mixed greens topped with edamame beans, mooli, red radish, carrot, beetroot, and cucumber.
